Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and technology industry, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Hardware Development Department supporting the Infotainment and Connectivity Hardware team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: UX Hardware Electrical Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $90/hour

What's the Job?

• Specify electrical component and system requirements, leading engineering discussions and development with suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet critical vehicle milestones.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams, firmware and software teams, and system operators to iterate on existing designs and develop future solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis during development, validation, build, and deployment phases for issue resolution.
• Support the development and execution of system and component-level validation test plans.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical component/system design and troubleshooting
• Experience taking a part or assembly from concept through production, working with external suppliers, and managing deliverables for multiple projects
• Experience with automotive networks such as CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, A2B, or similar
• Experience with on-board digital serial interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, and I2S
