Job Details Job Location : Denver - Denver, CO Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : $115170.00 - $157000.00 Salary/year Job Shift : Day Shift position Technology Business Partner - Community Development division/department Information Technology classification Exempt nature of position The Technology Business Partner – Community Development will lead technology initiatives for our Community Development business functions including application, origination, underwriting, closing, financing and other operational functions supporting Community Development including data and analytics. This role will ensure technology initiatives align with overall business goals and create strategies leading to successful outcomes. The Technology Business Partner identifies opportunities for technology to create new innovative value. The person in this position will provide consulting, communication and collaboration by guiding and leading digital transformation for mission-critical business activities supported by many technologies and systems in use today as well as moving to use of future technologies. The Technology Business Partner aligns business and IT strategy, facilitates solution discovery, leads digital transformation efforts, and builds strong relationships. The Technology Business Partner serves as a champion who promotes technology services and capabilities. The person in this role enables the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology. They will communicate progress and updates with stakeholders. The Technology Business Partner must have a strong working knowledge of Community Development functions. They need a solid understanding of the existing business processes, the key drivers and measures of success, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology tools in use now as well as future technologies. This position reports to the IT Director while working in partnership with IT and CHFA leadership and staff. essential functions Strategy & Planning Ensure technology investments and solutions support CHFA’s strategic objectives and business needs. Create a shared vision for Community Development technology solutions Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to annual technology roadmap for Community Development initiatives in alignment with CHFA’s strategic plan. Build Partnerships Foster strong relationships and communicate mutual needs to build common shared understanding. Developdeep domain knowledge of Community Development functions including cross-functional activities in other areas of CHFA like closing, financing, accounting, compliance and servicing. Participate in business planning sessions to ensure understanding of business goals, direction and business requirements. Develop working knowledge of Community Development functions and processes including technologies used (both current and future systems), data, interfaces, features, and delivery methodologies. Innovation and Digital Transformation Lead digital transformation by recommending and implementing new technologies that support business goals Deliver solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness of Community Development operations and activities. Innovate using knowledge and awareness of industry trends to identify new opportunities Develop and present proposals for modifications or replacement of systems to improve business results. Solution Discovery and Implementation Collaborate with business and IT Teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and expectations. Review and analyze an end-to-end process, understand abstract business concepts and processes, and be able to map “as-is” and “to-be” business processes to meet business goals. Lead business change meetings that collect requests for new features and capabilities, facilitate prioritization of requests, and collaborate closely with the IT Solutions and Business Intelligence teams on integrating requests into roadmaps, work queues and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Identify resource requirements both people and financial investment in technology Share knowledge of technology, solutions, and opportunities to transform business process and / or support continuous improvement. Close collaboration with the IT Solutions Manager and team to ensure proper prioritization, resourcing, integration, software development, testing, training, and system/user documentation Responsible for the successful execution of the entire solution that includes not only requirements and design, but also implementation, configuration, testing and post implementation support Communication and Collaboration Communicate technology initiatives, priorities, and project information to business stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned. Identify and integrate business partners’ strategic and operational plans into roadmaps and brief stakeholders on plans and progress. Partner with all levels of the organization. Collaborates with architecture, operational, and other teams to ensure solution compatibility with organizational and security standards. Vendor Relationship Management Manage relationships with Community Development technology vendors and ensuring that contracts and services are aligned with business needs. Governance and Analytics Partner with CHFA’s data governance core team and business units on Community Development governance activities Champion data governance by advocating and implementing solutions that improve data quality. Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Research and Strategy teams to support research, data, analytics and reports for Community Development functions. Risk Management Proactively anticipate changes affecting strategy in theexternal and internal landscape including organizational changes, technological advancements, and evolving business needs. Identify and address potential opportunities and risks. Leadership Build rapport with all. Lead with positivity, authenticity and guide others as needed. Knowledge of industry-standard IT tools and technologies.
