Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement (required)
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education
Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available)
New graduates with LBS1 licensure encouraged to apply

Deliver individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
Modify curriculum and support students with academic and behavioral needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
Maintain compliance with IDEA and Illinois state guidelines
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning
Maintain documentation and monitor student progress
