Company Overview Equipment Services Plus is a family owned and operated company located in the Midwest that serves the Chicagoland area and the entire Midwest with onsite breakdown, compactor & baler installation, and preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial customers. We offer equipment options in renting, leasing, or outright sale across a range from compactor to large‑scale baling or shredding systems. Job Title Shop Admin Primary Responsibilities Assists the shop manager in reviewing and writing work orders daily. Orders parts per work orders from technicians. Runs reports to review efficiency and effectiveness of the shop. Ensures overall organization of data and records for the shop. Schedule Full‑time Qualifications Experience in the trucking/automotive industry. Strong computer skills. Maintenance experience required. Knowledge of waste and/or recycling industry and plant/mobile equipment is a plus. Ability to read and understand work orders; knowledge of industry equipment to make sound decisions when ordering and supplying parts. Communicates orally in English, both by telephone and face‑to‑face. Makes rational business decisions in the absence of upper‑management supervision. Essential Functions of the Position Monitors and manages budgets on major repair jobs. Forecasts, orders, and manages spare parts inventory. Enters work orders daily. Coordinates the completion of repairs with directions from the shop manager. Identifies new ways/tools/assets to improve productivity. Drafts maintenance reports. Education High school or equivalent (preferred). Experience Related industry: 1 year (preferred). License/Certification Driver’s License (preferred).
