Senior Project Manager

• Contract Duration 12 Months
• Pay range - $70 to $80/hr
• PREFERS LOCAL CANDIDATES BUT OPEN TO NON-LOCALS.
• The role is remote with monthly onsite meetings (or as needed- could be monthly, every other month, etc.).

Job Responsibilities :

• Senior Project Manager manages small to midsize project
• Supports PMO leadership to optimize resource allocation
• Determines budgets and staffing for business cases
• Is SME for project methodologies and financial analytics
• Actively mentors PMAs and Business Analysts

Our client is looking for a project manager who has the following experience:

• Electric Generation Interconnection / New Business Connection
• Website/Portal for application intake
• Electric Operations in a Utility
• Asset Work Management (Distribution Pole, Transmission Tower, Substation)
• SAP PM, SAP EAM, GIS

Job Requirements :

• BS in CS or equivalent
• 5+ years in IT project management, with a focus on staffing or resource management
• Proficiency in PDM; PPMC tools
• Estimating
• Scope and risk management
• QA reviews and inspection
• PMI Project Management Professional certification, or equivalent

Note :

• Prefers local candidates but open to non-locals
• The role is remote with monthly onsite meetings (or as needed- could be monthly, every other month, etc.).
• Client laptop will be provided if the selected hire is within the Service territory, else VDI.
• May submit reimbursement expense for onsite meetings if located outside of the Bay Area.
