Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school social worker position is available in Wyoming, MI, supporting a middle school caseload of 30 students. This is a leave contract position starting September 3 and ending October 13, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role involves working onsite at one school location.

Qualifications:

• Hold Michigan School Social Worker certification (310 Certification and LARA)
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 30 students
• Flexibility to consider virtual work if onsite candidates are not available

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students to support their academic, emotional, and social development
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and coordinate with school staff and families
• Address issues such as behavioral challenges, attendance, family concerns, and mental health
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote student success
