Job Description The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:
- Review and interpret design plans, process documents, and test procedures to ensure quality objectives.
- Support production teams with inspection process expertise and quality analysis.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and procedures.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and reduce recurring defects.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9000/AS9100, NADCAP, and federal/state/industry regulations.
- Assist with calibration, measurement system analysis (MSA), and gage R&R studies.

The Successful Applicant The successful Quality Engineer candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5 + years' experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Hands-on internal auditing experience with ISO9000/AS9100 and NADCAP.
- Familiarity with GE Aviation and/or Pratt & Whitney quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with production workflows.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
