Akkodis is seeking a Remote Technical Project Manager for a contract job with a client in Bloomington, IN. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, and driving initiatives to successful completion.
Pay Range: $55.00/hour to $65.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Contract length: 3 months
Project Manager responsibilities include:
Establish project plans with clear milestones and deadlines
Act as the single point of contact and coordinate deliverables across teams and vendors
Communicate effectively with staff and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster a high-performance team environment
Ensure projects are completed on schedule with appropriate approvals
Train users on new systems and processes
Coordinate routing, tracking, and archiving of project documentation
Collect, document, and manage project risks, issues, and resources
Provide coaching and guidance on best project practices
Oversee and review project status reports, ensuring timely updates and changes
Develop and issue resource summaries
Attend and contribute to project status meetings
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 5-8 years of project management experience
Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools, skills, and methodologies
Experience with ERP, CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote), or CRM implementations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments
Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
Conducting training on root cause investigation and problem-solving techniques
