Job Title: Medical Assembler
Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a vital role in assembling medical devices with precision and care. You will utilize hand tools and a microscope to assemble various components, ensuring each device meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to assemble different medical devices throughout the day.
• Operate under a microscope for detailed assembly tasks.
• Cross-train at different stations to enhance skills and versatility.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision.
• Work in a full clean room environment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in medical assembly or other manufacturing/assembly roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong hand dexterity for precise assembly work.
• Ability to understand and use measurements with rulers and calipers.
• Capability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
• Great organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with catheter assembly, microscope operation, and cleanroom protocols.
• Previous experience in medical assembly or a stable work history in manufacturing/assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a medical device company within a full clean room environment. Follow strict dress code requirements including hair nets, gowns, booties, and closed-toe shoes. Handwashing is required before entering the cleanroom. Restrictions include no nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances, henna tattoos, or pants with holes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
