Laser Technician job at Rule 5 Hire. Canton, MI. Responsibilities Perform maintenance activities related to troubleshooting and repair of Trumpf Laser equipment. Maintain laser fixtures according to the preventative maintenance schedule. Basic knowledge and use of voltage meters, reading electrical schematics and measuring tools. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, troubleshooting and repair of production Laser machines. Read and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to fixturing for reliability. Perform regular preventive daily maintenance on laser machines and associated equipment. Perform a variety of plumbing, electrical and cleaning of laser fixturing. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. All other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in automotive industry with emphasis on industrial related equipment.
