Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent typing accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnter, verify, and update data into internal systems and databases
Review documents for accuracy and completeness before input
Identify and correct errors in data entries
Perform regular data quality checks and audits
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Organize, categorize, and maintain digital files
Prepare and generate reports as requested
Assist with administrative tasks such as email responses or document formatting
Communicate with team members to clarify missing or unclear information
Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets
Follow company procedures and compliance guidelines
Strong typing speed (45–60 words per minute preferred)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs)
Familiarity with data entry software, spreadsheets, or CRM/ATS systems
Ability to follow instructions and maintain high-quality data standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable internet connection and a functioning computer
Ability to handle sensitive data securely and confidentially
Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or administrative assistant
Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
Basic understanding of reporting and document management
Knowledge of CRM, ATS, or database systems
