The Role
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce seeks a dynamic and organized Events Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in planning, promoting, and executing a variety of events and provide an opportunity for personal and professional growth . The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and positioning our unique events in the market.
Events marketing promotion and deliverables : execute the event marketing strategies for director of marketing and communications to maximize attendance and engagement. Utilize various channels such as email marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.
Content Creation: place and coordinate compelling marketing materials, including event flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns. This includes creating event design materials using provided templates and programs and keeping design collateral updated with ongoing sponsor additions. Ensure all content aligns with the Chamber’s branding and messaging guidelines.
Copy and script writing: support Marketing and Communications team in the drafting, creation, and editing of scripts and various copy needs for events.
Event Project Management: ensure all marketing deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded for event marketing. Support the other departments in ensuring their events are successful and financial goals are met.
Marketing Impression and Data Tracking & Analysis: Monitor and analyze event and event communications performance metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI. Prepare post-campaign and post-event reports for the director to analyze and recommend future improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
The coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the marketing and events team through effective marketing support Communications, ensuring the Chamber effectively engages its members and promotes its initiatives through innovative and strategic marketing efforts.

Asked to work extended hours or to attend meetings off-site as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical job requirements include sitting at a desk (70% of the time); lifting to 30 pounds may be required to perform the job duties.
