About this Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Director of Special Projects to join our corporate team. This role partners directly with our Chief Operating Officer and works cross-functionally to lead high-impact initiatives that drive organizational growth, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the customer and patient experience.

You’ll spearhead projects such as building a high-satisfaction patient journey and developing systems and teams to increase sales conversion from pending leads. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving change. This individual will work full-time, Monday-Friday, at our Bethesda, MD corporate office.

What you'll be doing

• Design, execute and lead special projects that align with company growth goals, including initiatives focused on improving patient/customer satisfaction and pending sales pipeline conversion.
• Collaboration and serve as a strategic partner to internal teams, facilitating communication and alignment across departments to ensure project success.
• Analyze current operational workflows and implement scalable systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Create and optimize processes that deliver exceptional customer and patient experiences, backed by data and feedback.
• Develop workflows, reporting, and team structures to improve conversion rates from pending sales opportunities.
• Drive execution of high-priority initiatives on behalf of the CEO and COO, providing candid insights and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Function as an in-house consultant, advising on best practices, identifying bottlenecks, and enabling teams to work more effectively.

What you'll bring

• Execution-Oriented with a proven ability to take ownership and drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Strategic Systems-level thinker with strong analytical skills; able to see the big picture while managing the details.
• Strong Communicator and Influencer who is able to build relationships across all levels of the organization, gain buy-in, and manage stakeholders with varying priorities.
• Experience creating workflows, teams, and tools that scale.
• Tech-Savvy Innovator who is comfortable evaluating and implementing technology to improve processes, patient experiences and operations.
• Consulting or Operations Background, with experience in a top-tier consulting firm (operations focus) or a senior operations role in a fast-growth environment.
• Highly organized and versatile; must be effective at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up environment.
