Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in the autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Sensor Integration Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting vehicle sensor validation and integration efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sensor Integration Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $81/hour

What's the Job?

• Diagnose and troubleshoot fleet issues impacting system performance
• Support wind tunnel and fleet testing of SCM function
• Support hardware/system level testing activities, including writing test plans and designing internal test fixtures
• Execute testing procedures and report test results to ensure sensor reliability
• Develop and validate sensor cleaning systems to ensure consistent operation under various weather conditions

What's Needed?

• Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related background with a minimum of 2 years of work experience
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Catia, or UG NX
• Ability to read and interpret engineering test standards
• Familiarity with data acquisition tools and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical failures
• Basic understanding of Python or other scripting languages
