About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Utility Superintendent to oversee multiple underground utility projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in water, sewer, and storm drain installation, as well as proven experience managing field crews, subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics across several active jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations across multiple concurrent utility projects
• Lead crews installing water, sewer, storm drain , and related underground infrastructure
• Oversee dewatering operations , ensuring proper design, implementation, and compliance
• Manage project schedules, productivity, equipment utilization, and material deliveries
• Enforce safety standards and conduct regular jobsite inspections
• Collaborate closely with project managers, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors
• Review plans/specifications and ensure work meets design, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Track progress, document daily activities, and help forecast staffing and equipment needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience supervising civil/utility construction field operations
• Strong background in water, sewer, storm drain , and deep utility installation
• Demonstrated ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Hands-on knowledge of dewatering systems and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret plans, profiles, and construction documents
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites
