Requirements:
CDL Class A or B with airbrakes endorsement.
As a Ready-Mix Driver at Advanced Concrete Inc, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to job sites safely and efficiently while maintaining superior customer service. You'll operate trucks equipped with concrete mixing drums, adhere to all safety regulations, and ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Ready-Mix Truck: Safely drive and operate the ready-mix truck, including navigating job sites and residential areas.
Pour Concrete to Specifications: Deliver and pour concrete according to job site specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality in placement.
Lift and Handle Heavy Equipment: Regularly lift up to 75 lbs, including the handling and positioning of concrete chutes.
Frequent Truck Entry and Exit: Get on and off the truck multiple times daily to load, deliver, and pour concrete at various job sites.
Chute and Equipment Maintenance: Attach, adjust, and clean concrete chutes to facilitate proper pouring and ensure job site efficiency.
Truck Washing and Maintenance: Wash the truck and chutes multiple times daily to prevent buildup of concrete and maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment.
Shifting and Vehicle Control: Proficiently control the truck, including the chutes for proper placement, and maneuver in tight or uneven workspaces.
Communication with Job Site Personnel: Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and other personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
