Great Day Improvements Manufacturing (Macedonia, OH) - CAD Designer
As the CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating CAD drawings of projects scaled to site measurements and detailed project plans. Maintain master files of standard CAD detail library for accuracy and efficiency of drawings. Coordinate and create permit drawings and specifications required to secure local building permits.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:I. Review all paperwork for clarity and completeness to meet the expectations of our customers and the company.
2. Create CAD drawings for order details and permit applications.
3. Create and maintain CAD details for efficiency and accuracy of drawings.
4. Coordinate with the engineering team on product design projects.
5. Coordinate with engineering on stamped jobs and necessary detail requirements.
6. Check jobs for potential installation problems.
7. Deal positively with the customer and/or employee(s).
8. Maintain tracking of open jobs on schedule.
9. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:Five plus years of CAD Design experience.
Must have general construction knowledge with a concentration in concrete, masonry and carpentry.
Must be competent in the use of technology and be able to function proficiently in AutoCAD 2016 and in our IT system.
Experience with Excel is a plus.
Must be organized, possess strong reading, math, and writing skills, and have the ability to communicate with and teach others.
Process-focused - structure and consistency is key.
Great attention to detail and strong organization/time management skills.
