Job Title: Web Developer

Company: Cache River Mill & MetalWorks

Location: 3401 E Broadway Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114

Cache River Mill & MetalWorks is seeking a skilled Web Developer to build and maintain our digital presence. This role will focus on website development, management, and optimization while supporting digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong experience with WordPress, website performance optimization, SEO, and eCommerce functionality. Experience with Square credit card processing is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Website Development & Management: Design, update, and maintain responsive, high-performing websites using WordPress. Ensure seamless navigation, security, and fast load times for an optimal user experience.
• Custom Web Solutions: Manage and implement WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to enhance functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues as needed.
• eCommerce Integration: Support and optimize eCommerce functionality, including product listings, checkout processes, and payment gateway integrations. Experience with Square is a plus.
• SEO & Performance Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, and optimize site speed and mobile responsiveness to improve search engine rankings.
• Social Media & Marketing Integration: Ensure seamless integration of social media platforms within the website. Assist with web-based marketing efforts, including landing pages and campaign tracking.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align web development efforts with company goals.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with WordPress (theme customization, plugin management, and site optimization).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for designing web assets.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (such as Shopify or WooCommerce); experience with Square credit card processing is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues and manage content updates efficiently.
• Experience with web security best practices, performance optimization, and site maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile app development is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media integrations.
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices to enhance user experience.

Education & Experience:

• Extensive experience in Web Development, Marketing, Graphic Design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional web development and digital content management.
