We are looking for a highly creative Video Editor to produce engaging, fast-paced content with a meme-heavy tone and dynamic motion graphics—similar to the editing style of the Cold Ones YouTube show. The ideal candidate has experience in crafting entertaining, high-energy videos that keep audiences engaged and entertained.
Responsibilities:
Edit three (3) short social media videos per week optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Edit one (1) long-form episode per week (20–30 minutes; the first episode is 45 minutes).
Incorporate motion graphics, memes, sound effects, and fast-paced transitions to enhance humor and engagement.
Source and integrate relevant meme references and pop culture clips to match the show's comedic tone.
Ensure all videos align with brand identity and audience expectations.
Optimize content for multiple platforms, considering pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
Collaborate with the creative team to refine the style and direction of the content.
Proven experience in high-energy, meme-heavy video editing (portfolio required).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve , or equivalent software.
Strong knowledge of motion graphics, text animation, and meme culture .
Ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver multiple edits per week.
Creative, adaptable, and able to take feedback effectively.
Passion for internet culture, trending memes, and viral content creation.
