VES, LLC seeks a UI/UX Designer to create amazing user experiences for our customers. This position can be performed remotely, however priority will be given to those that reside within Maryland or New Jersey.

The UI/UX Designer Will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• Execute all user experience design and user interaction design stages from requirements to final hand-off to development.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create sketches, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate the member journey.
• Present and articulate design concepts to team members, stakeholders and leadership.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
• Promote UX design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Ensure design engagements are executed on time and at a high standard.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of UI/UX design experience.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles and ability to provide developers with useful design templates in code.
• Experience developing unit tests and useful code documentation.
• Experience with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git).
