• Work on a 34-bed medical surgical floor with stroke and neurology designation
• Maximum capacity of 43 patients • Patient ratio of 5:1• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity • Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity • Work with remote telemetry equipment • Use Meditech EMR system • BLS certification required • NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred • Navy scrubs required for dress code • Provide care for general medical surgical patients as well as stroke and neurology patients • Ideal candidate should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionateFacility:
