Job Details:

\n

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
\n• Technologist must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
\n• On call every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
\n• Must have Indiana state license
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• Must work with adults and preferred experience with adolescents and geriatrics
\n• Work in 4 IR rooms including 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
\n• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and one scrubs
\n• Perform procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
\n• Handle Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke cases
\n• Perform vascular and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
\n• Floating required to other units or affiliate hospitals
\n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
\n• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts or extension of contract

The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including multiple IR rooms with both single plan and biplane Siemens c-arms, providing advanced vascular and neurological interventional procedures. The organization maintains high standards for stroke, pulmonary embolism, and trauma care, serving as a regional referral center for complex interventional procedures.
