\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Weekend requirement: every other Saturday/Sunday and holidays as needed
\n• Float occasionally to other units as needed
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• One pre-approved holiday time off allowed
\n• Must have 2 years of ICU experience and travel experience required
\n• California RN licensure required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Epic experience
\n• Certifications required within specified timeframes: PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• 50-mile travel requirement (locals accepted at local rate)
\n• Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of patient care
\n• Deliver holistic and individualized care to adult patients in acute care setting
\n• Develop and implement care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
\n• Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
\n• Work with complex ICU equipment and procedures including ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and cardiac monitoring
\n• Care for patients with conditions such as post-surgical recovery, trauma, stroke, and multi-system organ dysfunction

\nThis healthcare organization operates a 44-bed intensive care unit providing comprehensive critical care services to adult patients. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 40 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized equipment. The organization emphasizes evidence-based practice and maintains high standards for patient care delivery in an acute care environment.
