Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and current ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an adult cardiac care setting performing echocardiograms
• Uses GE, Phillips, and PACS imaging equipment
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts required as needed
• On-call required after completion of orientation and training, by staff sign-up with a minimum of one day per month
• No floating to other units
• Gray scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Team-based structure with orientation provided bi-weekly
• Orientation and required learning modules are completed during the first week and annually
• All local candidates within a 75 mile radius are accepted at a lower pay rate
• Time off requests must be included at application, maximum 5-7 days
• Current staff manage on-call assignments by sign-up after orientation
• A minimum of 3 weeks between booking and start date is expected for credentialing and compliance

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer preferred
• ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE, Phillips, and PACS systems required
• Experience with adult patient population
• One supervisory reference from the past year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• License required if applicable
