Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Teradata Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC . The ideal candidate is a skilled Teradata Developer with experience in designing and maintaining Financial Crimes applications, collaborating with business partners, and following agile best practices.
Rate Range: $62/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Teradata Developer job responsibilities include:
Designing and developing applications for Financial Crimes technology.
Collaborating with business partners to define and refine system requirements.
Developing data models and implementing data provisioning solutions.
Ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and agile processes.
Supporting change management, platform upgrades, and continuous integration efforts.
Desired Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in Teradata development and data management.
Proficiency in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and Informatica.
Experience with Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark) and Cloudera CDP.
Strong knowledge in data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning for large-scale financial data initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD tools (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Experience with UNIX Shell scripting and Autosys.
