Job Description: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Program : COVID Series, Booster Required at Submission

Overview :
Seeking a Psychiatric RN to provide nursing care for a male patient population in a detox and transitional support services program. The role supports men in early recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction through short-term residential care, offering tools for daily living, goal setting, problem-solving, and self-advocacy. Services include nursing support, case management, group treatment, aftercare planning, and more.

Schedule :

• 4-hour flexible shifts (e.g., 8 AM–12 PM or other 4-hour increments)
• 20 hours/week , Monday–Friday

Responsibilities :

• Provide 24-hour nursing care to monitor and manage withdrawal symptoms from alcohol/drugs.
• Record and report symptoms, treatment reactions, and changes in patient safety.
• Administer medications and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with the team to provide health information and support.
• Assist patients with daily living activities to promote a positive therapeutic environment.
• Support admitting, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to care plan development.

Qualifications :

• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in addiction treatment preferred but not required.
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) for at least 6 months to be eligible.
• Local and travel candidates considered.

Contract Details :

• Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time).
