Responsible for performing professional level responsibilities specific to the needs of the department.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $27.00 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct project assignments, research and analysis.
• Apply technical knowledge to departmental projects.
• May prepare written reports, communication or correspondence on behalf of the department.
• May attend various events and functions.
• May make presentations on assignment status and progress.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university
• Must at least be in third year of college
• No experience required

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in related area of study
• General knowledge of the principles and practices of business organizations
• Technical and communications skills, both oral and written
• Proficient skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to take on challenges and learn at a quick pace

• None required

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The incumbent works in a typical office environment; relatively free from any environmental hazards or conditions. Depending on the location of the internship, may be exposed to some unpleasant environmental conditions.
