ALTA IT Services is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the operations, maintenance, and cloud migration of critical IT applications for a federal client. This role is a strategic and hands-on leadership position that ensures the stability of legacy systems while enabling seamless transitions to modern platforms. You will work closely with senior client executives, Agile teams, and technical stakeholders to drive delivery excellence, ensure high system availability, and support modernization efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and Agile teams to manage requirements, plan releases, and address operational needs.
• Oversee cloud migration of legacy applications to AWS.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for systems built on WebLogic, ColdFusion, PowerBuilder, Sybase, and more.
• Support delivery across platforms including ServiceNow, Okta, MuleSoft, Socrata, Box, and Zendesk.
• Promote Agile and DevSecOps practices across teams.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Ensure standardized delivery practices and cross-system integration.
• Recommend improvements for application operations and infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years in IT project/delivery management.
• 6+ years leading Agile-based support teams.
• 3+ years of AWS migration experience (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SQL, Spring Boot, J2EE, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps tools.
• Familiarity with ColdFusion, PowerBuilder, Sybase, and SSMA for database migration.
Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• PMI-ACP
