Intrepid Solutions, a CIS Secure Services Company is currently supporting the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) providing floor to ceiling information technology services across the command. This is a newly awarded six (6) year contract which offers many opportunities to diversify professional skills, and advancement. Our team is seeking additional personnel to provide System Administration Support. A qualified System Administration, Storage, and Workstation Engineer candidate will be able to meet the requirements, and perform the duties, outlined below:

Responsibilities

• Provide Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Linux system administration support.
• Provide documented Operational views of new installations and upgrades
• Sustain remote management services and connectivity for ~800 fiber-connected Desktops,~100 help desk tickets per month; maintain self-serve software application catalogs with ~100 titles responding to new requests within five (5) business days.
• Roaming Windows profiles for approximately 200 personnel
• Programs and applications to be supported are VMWare ESX, Exchange Server, SQL Server,
• SharePoint 2010/2013, SCCM, WSUS, Flexira, AdminStudio, Windows Server, Citrix, Windows.
• Terminal Services, Hummingbird, Samba, Vintela Authentication Services, MS Cluster Services,Active Directory, Host Based Security System (HBSS) BMC/Remedy, Symantec Antivirus Server, McAfee Antivirus Server, Outlook, Internet Information Server, Adobe products, and various scripting languages including Perl, PowerShell, VB Script.
• Programs and applications to be supported are Network Information System (NIS), Domain Name Server (DNS), Vintela Authentication Services, RedHat Satellite Server, Zenoss Enterprise.
• Network Modeling, Oracle, BMC/Remedy, Jumpstart, NetBackup, StorNext Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM), Veritas HSM, Veritas Clusters, IBRIX, ZFS, VMWare, IBM AIX, Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM), Virtual Box, Samba, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Web Services, eXmeritus, SeaMonkey, Thunderbird, Firefox, Adobe, Symantec, Secure Messaging and Routing Terminal Server (Smart) and Smart.neXt, VMWare ESX and Consolidated Backup Server, and YUM repositories, Open Office and various programming/scripting languages including Fortran, C, C++, Perl, Java, Bourne and Korn Shell.
• Configure/maintain Windows attached storage.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position requires onsite support on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.

TRAVEL:

• Position does not anticipate regular travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active Top Secret / SCI. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any clearance upgrades, reactivation, or sponsorship.***

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Possess active IAT Level II (Security+, or equivalent) Certification.
• Possess certifications in Microsoft/MS operating systems (e.g. MTA, MCSA, MCSE).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Four (4) or more years of experience as a Windows/Linux System Administrator; troubleshooting and resolving problems in a complex environment.
• Experience with roaming Windows profiles for approximately 350+ personnel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various scripting languages including Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell, VB Script.
• Experience with the following: Windows 7, 8, and 10 desktop operating systems (OS) programs and applications being supported are Exchange 2007/2010/2013 Server, VMWare ESX, SQL server 2005/2008/2012, SharePoint, SCCM, SMS, WSUS, FlexiraAdminStudio, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Citrix, Windows Terminal Services, Hummingbird, Samba, Quest Vintela Authentication Services, MS Cluster Services, Active Directory, Symantec Antivirus Server, McAfee Antivirus Server, Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Project. Internet Information Server, Admin Studio, Multimedia Message (M3) client, ESRI ArcGIS, Analyst Notebook, Adobe products, Lotus Notes.

The actual salary offered may vary based on various factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, education, geographic location, as well as internal equity, and alignment to market data.

Job Type: Full-time (onsite)

Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
