Job Description

Purpose of the Role:
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations. This role ensures that processes run efficiently, cost-effectively, and align with organizational goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily supply chain activities, including procurement and logistics coordination.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in supply chain processes.
• Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and logistics workflows.
• Track and analyze key supply chain metrics, such as lead times, costs, and inventory turnover.
• In collaboration with the quality team, monitor supplier performance and address any non-compliance issues.

Direct Reports:

• 2–4 employees

Desired Skills:

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Proficiency in supply chain metrics analysis and process improvement.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline.
