Position Overview

The Senior Accounting Recruiter will play a vital role in leading full-cycle recruitment for accounting, finance, and tax professionals within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting experience within the accounting and finance sectors , a sharp understanding of technical skill sets, and a proven ability to build lasting relationships with hiring managers and leadership. A track record of stability and professionalism is key for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for accounting, tax, and financial roles—from intake to offer stage.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, priorities, and desired candidate profiles.
• Source qualified talent through multiple channels, including job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach.
• Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical qualifications and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interview logistics and communicate updates to hiring leaders and executives.
• Draft and post engaging job descriptions and maintain requisition accuracy.
• Conduct professional reference checks and assist with background verification.
• Track recruiting metrics and maintain compliance within the applicant tracking system.
• Represent the company’s values of professionalism, collaboration, and integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience , including at least 5 years recruiting for accounting, finance, or tax roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions, tax preparation roles, and financial operations.
• Proven success in high-volume or specialized recruiting environments.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field  is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated career stability and commitment to long-term organizational growth.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
