Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview: A leading industrial process equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer . This role focuses on the design, development, and customization of complex equipment such as blenders, dryers, mills, and mixers, ensuring compliance with ASME standards and tailored to diverse industry applications.

Core Responsibilities:

* Equipment Design & Engineering: Create detailed 3D models, perform engineering calculations, and produce design documentation for custom equipment.
* Project Oversight: Serve as the primary engineering contact, facilitating clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
* Product Development & Innovation: Contribute to product advancements and quality improvements, coordinating with specialized engineers.
* Supplier Coordination: Work with vendors on part development and quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
* Quality Assurance: Review and approve detailed drawings, oversee testing protocols, and troubleshoot design challenges.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (P.E. preferred).
* 10+ years in mechanical design for industrial/process equipment.
* Expertise in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
* Familiarity with ASME code and manufacturing best practices.
* Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
