Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. The position is based in Chillicothe, OH, and offers a contract engagement within a dedicated educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans.
• Support students with munication disorders to improve speech, language, and auditory skills.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in pliance with school policies.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to contribute to the overall development and success of students.
• Prepare materials and set up therapy activities tailored to students needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in accordance with state regulations.
• Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage young learners effectively.
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders within the K-12 population.
• Ability to follow detailed therapy plans and work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Excellent organizational and munication skills.
