Description SAIC is seeking cleared (Secret) Software Engineers to support our recent award for Project Overmatch. The Software Engineer will need Agile Core Services (ACS) knowledge and experience. You will integrate, install, and maintain Agile Core Services (ACS) and associated components within the OPE AWS environment. You will research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. In this role, the Software Engineer will be an integral team member supporting assured Command and Control capabilities on Project Overmatch for our DoD customer within the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA. Work is performed onsite in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will: Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis Update or enhance existing software capabilities Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications, and performance requirements Maintain databases within an application area View additional opportunities for this program here: jobs.saic.com/overmatch Qualifications Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's in quantitative field such as engineering or math (e.g. Elec Eng, Comp Eng, Comp Sci, IT, or Info Sys) Five (5+) years of experience with 2-3 years of progressively more complex experience developing software applications using Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, and Ansible Clearance: Active SECRET clearance, TS SCI clearance preferred Additional Required Skills & Experience: Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting Experience developing internal OPSEC programs specific to the task order and based on Government client OPSEC requirements Experience providing to the government, a system security plan (or extract thereof) and any associated plans of action developed to satisfy the adequate security requirements of DFARS 252.204-7012, and in accordance with NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171, "Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations" Proven experience utilizing Ansible scripting Infrastructure as a Service or Infrastructure as a Code (IaaS/IaC OpenShift containerization Demonstrated experience with Red Hat, Linux OS Experience with Keycloak and integration with existing LDAP services highly desirable Certification Requirements: CompTIA Security + or higher (DOD 8140) Preferred/Nice to Have: Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification Master's degree in quantitative field such as engineering or math (e.g. Elec Eng, Comp Eng, Comp Sci, IT, or Info Sys) Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
