Position Overview :

The Social Media and Events Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and foster growth across all digital platforms. This role also includes managing and optimizing our website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, influencer marketing, website management, analytics, and SEO. They will serve as the primary liaison between the marketing department and other departments to coordinate and promote events, ensuring cohesive and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media Strategy and Management
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to drive engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Manage daily social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing across all channels.
  • Monitor social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Create and maintain a social media content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other key events.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and cultivate a positive community on all social channels.
  1. Influencer Marketing and Campaign Management
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and partners to create impactful campaigns that align with brand objectives.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor influencer campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with overall marketing strategies and goals.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of influencer partnerships and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  1. Website Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the website, ensuring it is up-to-date, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to update existing pages, create new landing pages, and make other necessary changes.
  • Conduct regular website audits to ensure all content is accurate, optimized for SEO, and aligned with current marketing strategies.
  • Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics and other tools, providing regular reports and insights on performance, user behavior, and areas for improvement.
  1. Events Coordination and Collaboration
  • Act as the main point of contact between the marketing department and other departments to coordinate upcoming events, ensuring seamless communication and promotion.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote events across social media and other digital channels.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution, including promotion, engagement, and follow-up.
  1. Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and website analytics, including engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and SEO tools to generate comprehensive reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Continuously optimize social media and website strategies based on data-driven insights to improve performance and ROI.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, website management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media and influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in website management, including CMS platforms, SEO, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for social media and digital marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with event coordination and promotion.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation.
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising and digital marketing strategies.
Working Conditions:
  • Typical office environment with occasional travel for events and other engagements.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Hybrid working environment with 3 days in the office and 2 optional remote days.
