We are seeking a Small Engine Mechanic/Technician for immediate hire in Port Carling, Ontario. This is a fleet repair position maintaining lawn and turf equipment. If you are looking to work on a variety of machinery and equipment this is the role for you as no one day will be the same. We are ideally seeking a licensed 435A mechanic/technician with experience maintaining landscaping equipment. However, a background with small engine and hydraulic repair is acceptable as training can be provided. This is a full time year round position with a good team environment.

The Essentials:

• Maintaining a variety of mowers, tractors, small engine, and landscaping equipment along with some facility maintenance.
• Equipment fabrication and modification.
• Use of metal lathe and milling machines.
• Day shift, 8 hours, 40-44 hour work weeks.

Compensation:

• $75,000 - $85,000/year + to start.
• $7,000 - $8,000/year bonus.
• Benefits package, uniforms, and tool allowance.

Your background:

• Proven experience maintaining small engine, hydraulic systems, and landscaping equipment.
• 435A Journeyman License is ideal but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt and shift priorities based on equipment needs and break downs.
