Job Description: * Join our team to gain hands-on experience building skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and information security best practices. Train in cyber defense, penetration testing, and reverse engineering to protect critical systems from evolving threats. A strong path for service members interested in high-impact cyber roles. The SkillBridge Cybersecurity Intern shall possess the following capabilities: Training Areas: * Cyber threat analysis and mitigation strategies. * Information security policies, frameworks, and compliance standards. * Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. * Reverse engineering techniques for malware analysis. * Tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Splunk. What You'll Learn: * Identifying and responding to cyber threats. * Implementing security controls to protect critical systems. * Testing systems for vulnerabilities and strengthening defenses. * Translating military cyber skills to private sector environments. Qualifications: * Has served at least 180 days on active duty. * Is within 180 days of separation or retirement. * Will receive honorable discharge. * Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS. * Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months. * Received Unit Commander authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship. * NOTE: SkillBridge interns will not be eligible for any compensation during their internship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Pay Range: Unpaid Internship The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
