SEO Specialists at ViziSites collaborate with Account Managers in both Onboarding and Client Success departments to develop optimization strategies for our clients websites. As an SEO Specialist, you are an integral part of our clients success and a critical part of client retention.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a full-time SEO Specialist at ViziSites, you will develop optimization strategies, execute on-site SEO tasks, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate on client-specific or platform-wide optimizations, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
  • Keyword & Competitor Research: Review client profiles to determine optimal keywords through detailed research.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Onboarding and Client Success teams to identify additional SEO content needs and manage ordering and approval with the Copywriting team.
  • Website Optimization: Perform on-site SEO optimizations pre/post-launch and when adding new content using WordPress CMS.
  • Analytics Setup & Monitoring: Configure Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts, monitor SEO performance using tools like Analytics, Search Console, and SEMRush, and optimize directory listings with BirdEye or similar tools.
  • Client Reporting & Recommendations: Assist in reporting performance results to clients and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Performing Research: Monitor changes in search engine algorithms and inform the product team of any necessary updates or actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of basic SEO requirements for: website content, performance, structure, & layout
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, & Keyword Research Tools
  • Familiarity with the WordPress CMS
  • Proficiency in Google Office Tools (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc)
  • Knowledge of Yoast (WordPress Plugin)
  • SCHEMA Best Practices
  • Local SEO Best Practices (Directory Listing/NAP Optimization)
  • Experience working in Salesforce is a plus, but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • $52,080+ OTE (base of $21/hour or more, based on experience, + bonus)
