Job Title: SEO Lead

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $35.00 to $40.00 an hour, based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you will be doing:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including technical, on-page, and local SEO
• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
• Optimize website structure, schema markup, and technical elements to enhance rankings
• Implement location-specific optimization strategies for single and multi-location businesses
• Perform site speed optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements
• Analyze ranking factors and competitor strategies to drive better visibility
• Identify and resolve duplicate content, site architecture, and indexation issues
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly
• Guide the writing and SEO teams on technical best practices
• Configure and maintain GTM, Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking
• Manage SEO reporting and analytics, ensuring data-driven decision-making
• Lead client discussions, explaining SEO strategy and performance insights

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical and local SEO
• 5+ years of WordPress development and optimization
• 4+ years of team management or leadership experience
• Proven expertise in local SEO, enterprise SEO, and home service business optimization
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture
• Experience using Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Core Web Vitals tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• HVAC or Home service industry experience a plus
• Work collaboratively in a remote workspace with team members as well as clients to deliver a high level of service to our clients
