This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing senior housing assets, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of one or more senior living properties, ensuring high standards in resident satisfaction, occupancy, and financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize property value and performance.
  • Supervise and mentor on-site staff, including leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis in collaboration with accounting and asset management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts to maintain property standards.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Foster a community environment that supports the unique needs of senior residents.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of property management experience, with at least 3 years in senior living or age-restricted communities.
  • Strong knowledge of market rate housing operations and financial management.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage).
  • CAM, CPM, or similar certification preferred.
