Job Description

Senior Interior Design Project Manager We are seeking a Senior Interior Design Project Manager to lead high-profile residential and commercial projects for our distinguished design firm based in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creative design expertise and strong project management skills, specializing in luxury markets. This role involves direct reporting to Executive Leadership and offers opportunities for minor travel to exotic locations such as the Caribbean, South Florida, and NYC. If you have a passion for luxury design, skillful management, and can handle the dynamics of affluent client relationships, this position will allow you to showcase your talents in a supportive, creative, and flexible environment. Salary: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and manage high-profile residential and commercial interior design projects from inception to completion. Maintain proactive engagement with affluent clients throughout the design process to ensure a personalized service experience. Lead the design development phase, crafting innovative design concepts that meet client specifications and desires. Prepare detailed client presentations, manage Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, including lighting and furniture plans. Coordinate with vendors, artisans, and contractors to ensure products and services meet the project’s luxury standards. Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring strict adherence to financial parameters while optimizing client value. Conduct site visits and manage the installation processes to uphold quality and design integrity. Implement new design trends, materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction. Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders including architects, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth operation. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in managing high-end commercial and residential design projects. Proven track record of successful design project management with affluent clients. Strong oral communication skills and confidence in client and vendor interactions. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a leadership role within a design firm that caters to luxury markets. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to foster a cooperative work environment. Capable of making decisive decisions that align with client needs and project goals. Strong creative vision with the ability to anticipate trends and integrate them into design projects. Adept in financial management and budget optimization for luxury scale projects.
