Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer - AI Focus, you will lead the integration and optimization of advanced AI models (e.g., Llama, GPT) within our platform while developing scalable backend systems. Your expertise in machine learning and neural networks will guide the fine-tuning and deployment of AI applications, ensuring seamless integration with our infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build AI-powered features and mentor junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have 4-5+ years of experience and a strong background in AI.

This position will be remote initially, with a possible transition to a hybrid work model in California soon.

• Backend Development: Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems, APIs, and services.
• AI Model Development: Lead the integration, fine-tuning, and deployment of advanced AI models (e.g., Llama, GPT, etc.) within the platform.
• AI Application Development: Create and optimize AI-powered features and applications with an emphasis on neural networks, deep learning, and other advanced techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement AI-driven features and ensure seamless backend integration.
• Research & Optimization: Stay up to date with the latest AI research and technologies, and ensure models are optimized for real-world application and scalability.
• Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on AI integration and backend development.

• Master’s or PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4-5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI and backend systems.
• Previous experience working at top-tier AI companies is highly preferred.

• Expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js , Python, Go, Java) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Deep understanding of AI models, neural networks, machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and experience with fine-tuning and model deployment.
• Advanced experience with transformer-based models (e.g., Llama, GPT).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability concerns.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mandarin is preferred, but not required.

$180,000 - $220,000 a year
