Full-Time Bookkeeper Position in Boise, ID

About the Role: We are currently seeking a full-time, seasonal hours, permanent bookkeeper for our dynamic accounting services team. We seek a dedicated professional who excels in a fast-paced and highly productive environment, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in long-term growth within our well-established public accounting firm. If you do not have Bookkeeping experience that exceeds seven years, please do not apply as you will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Client accounting services, including bookkeeping and general ledger review
• Data entry, work paper preparation, organization, and summation of client data
• In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, bank feeds in QuickBooks, and data transfer via QBO or CSV files
• Experience in payroll processing, payroll employee setup, and preparation/review of payroll tax returns
• Annual 1099 form preparation, analytical data mining, and data review
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to other accounting software as needed

Requirements:

• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Intermediate experience with Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills, both in person and in written form
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures
• Seven or more years of bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience
• Prior bookkeeping experience with a CPA firm is preferable
• Tax preparation experience and QuickBooks certifications are a plus
