As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an educational setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and serving as a reliable presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will be expected to engage with the campus community, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Mon 04:30 PM - 09:15 PM

Tue 04:30 PM - 09:15 PM

Wed 04:30 PM - 09:15 PM

Thur 04:30 PM - 09:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related matters as needed, adapting to the unique needs of the education environment.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to the campus community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
