As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Patrol in Jackson, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, as required by the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and regular patrols.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel and/or local authorities.
• Collaborate closely with fellow Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address and resolve security-related concerns.
• Conduct access control checks and verify identification as required by location-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for management review.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military work is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
