Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth project progress.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and prioritize work.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Track and report on team progress and metrics.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial services or banking industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial sector.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
