A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to provide services within a K-12 school setting on Chincoteague Island, VA. This contract position spans a full semester, offering the opportunity to work closely with students to support their occupational therapy needs in an educational environment.

Location: Chincoteague Island, VA
Duration: Full semester contract
Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grades
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Support students functional skills to enhance their educational performance and participation

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with certification appropriate for school settings
• Experience working with children in K-12 schools preferred
• Knowledge of educational therapy standards and regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
