Role: SAP Security Analyst


Location: Jackson, MS- Remote


Job Description:


The Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration (DFA) / Mississippi Management and Reporting System (MMRS) is recruiting one (1) SAP Security Analyst to provide SAP system support. The resource will serve as a member of the security and will work alongside State resources in developing, enhancing, and supporting the Mississippi Accountability System of Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) system.


Requirements:

1. Position and Job Skill Set:
2. Knowledge transfer.
3. Provide guidance to security team members.
4. Participate in efforts for mass changes and data clean up.
5. Participate in testing activities.
6. Support common issues and implement resolutions.
7. Support for system integrations.
8. Log tickets with SAP and monitor progress when needed.
9. Update documentation for any configuration changes.
10. Work with Team Leads on security related biannual SAP Success Factors releases, which is to include making recommendations to Team Leads regarding security related optional releases.
11. Perform and/or coordinate configuration changes for applications in the area of responsibility.

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge on different user and role types.
2. Experience with SAP upgrades.
3. Ability to work and collaborate across all teams within the organization.
4. Ability to train staff and make system improvement recommendations.
5. Ability to identify security threats.
6. Ability to install needed Security software and/or patches.
7. SAP - ECC, CRM, SRM, SUS, GRC - SME skill level required
8. SAP - SuccessFactors - beginner skill level preferred

Preferred Skill Set:

1. Experience in defining and managing rule sets for business/IT risk analysis in GRC solution.
2. Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place and being followed.
3. Should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
