BMW experience with Automation in previous projects is required

Position Overview: We are seeking a forward-thinking Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a keen eye for developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures tailored to automated processes. This role will involve providing essential technical support to both operators and maintenance personnel, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols and procedures for automation systems.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with automated processes.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance staff on automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety measures and system performance.
• Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in safety engineering, particularly with automated processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within safety protocols.
• Excellent technical support capabilities for automation systems.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with industrial automation systems and machinery.
• Certification or formal training in safety engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and safety audit techniques.
