Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Roving Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide maintenance services to our properties across several counties. As a team member, you will be expected to uphold our core values and communicate with radical transparency while always putting the customer first.

Reports To: Property Supervisor
Position Type: Hourly/ Full Time
Locations: Los Angeles/ Southbay/ Long Beach, CA

Salary: $20-$27 per hour plus allowance

Essential Functions:

• Provide maintenance services, including plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Complete daily work orders assigned by the supervisor
• Maintain professionalism and follow company policies
• Perform apartment make-ready work and troubleshoot/repair mechanical systems
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs
• Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations
• Assist with other duties assigned

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of related experience
• Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in grounds keeping
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools
• Deal effectively with co-workers and the public
• Walk, stand and kneel for prolonged periods, climb a ladder

Travel Requirements: This position requires reliable transportation and 100% onsite work. Travel requirements may change at any time.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: This job requires the ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds; exposed to mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards; work outdoors in a wide disparity of environmental conditions; manipulate hand tools while exerting moderate physical strength or while in cramped/strained positions; exposed to dust/fumes; wear protective clothing; work irregular hours.
